Cooking and Gardening

 Last week on Wednesday room 18 went to cooking and gardening we made ANZAC biscuits. the ingredients  we used were

1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup coconut
3/4 cup rolled oats
50g butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons boiling water

Method:

1.Preheat oven to 180*c 

2.Mix together flour,sugar,coconut and rolled oats

3. Melt butter and golden syrup

4.Dissolve baking soda in the boiling water and add the butter and golden syrup mix

5. Stir butter mixture into the dry ingredients 

6.Place level tablespoons of mixture onto cold greased trays

7.Bake about 15 minutes or until golden
